Travel in style with Old Town Trolley’s Architectural Connections Tour between VIP Interior tours of The Andrew Low and Green-Meldrim museum houses. Along the way you will have a trolley view guided tour of further examples of the prolific work of John Norris, architect of both museum houses. This year the tour will also highlight the impressive work of Henrik Wallin, architect of The Armstrong House, subject of our fascinating Saturday Lunch and Learn Lecture and private tour.
VIP Tour docents will guide you through the splendid interiors of the Andrew Low and Green-Meldrim houses and will entertain you with little-known connections between the houses and the prominent families who occupied them. Both houses contain excellent collections of fine art, decorative art, spectacular furniture and décor. The sanctuary of St. John’s Church is a glorious example of the Gothic Revival architecture of its day. It’s majestic interior, magnificent stained glass windows, and sacred religious adornments is a memorable addition to the tour.
